Safety

Fast exits for conversations that go wrong.

Every chat has a report button and a dissolve button. Reporting sends minimal metadata for review, blocks that room/peer session on your device, and dissolves the room locally so you are no longer in that conversation.

Before Content Is Posted

0° uses a local text safety gate for obvious harassment, hate, sexual violence, self-harm encouragement, doxxing, and violent-threat patterns before a thought or chat message is posted. On iOS, debate judging and future safety checks are designed to run locally on-device where possible.

Report Reasons

Block And Leave

Because 0° does not use permanent accounts, blocking is room/session based. Reporting a room blocks that peer session on your device, sends the minimal report metadata, and removes the room locally.

Response Process

Reports are reviewed by the app owner. Severe safety reports should be triaged within 24 hours, and abusive sessions can be removed from active matching/room flow as the system evolves.

Contact

Safety concerns can be sent to [email protected]. Do not use 0° for emergencies; contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.
